Each of the four grandkids got Micro Mini Deluxes when they turned 2 or 3. Although they still are in great condition after much use, we are now graduating at age 6 or 7 to Micro Cruisers and this is our second Cruiser. Kids and parents both love these scooters. They go on outings and vacations!
I bought this for my 7 year old son. He loves it! The ride is very smooth and he said it is much easier to balance on compared to the other 2 wheel scooters he has tried. He previously had a Micro 3 wheel scooter, but he wanted a 2 wheel. He loves that the bigger wheels allow him to go farther with less effort.
I have a micro scooter and on the 6th bday of each of my boys (now ages are 6, 7, and 8), they get one too! Would HIGHLY recommend for all ages:). I did add the bell to the last scooter I purchased. I do have to say that I was not pleased with the quality of it. The top falls off every time he rides. My suggestion is to stick with the basics.
Let's see, our first was the micro delux mini LED in pink. It was bought for my daughters 4th bday, but soon my 2 year old was using it the most and my oldest daughter was riding her cousins micro cruiser. So for her 5th bday we got her a micro cruiser of her own. She loves it! I really wanted to get her the Sprite LED in Ocean Blue, but she wanted the big wheels, like her cousin. Our bdays are close together, and for my bday my husband got me the sprite! I'm 5'6 and 150 lbs and although the deck is a little small for me, I love how light and easy to carry the sprite is when I'm not riding it. So I get to scooter, too! (My husband, who is 6 fet tall, will occasionally borrow my scooter and go out with the kids. I think there's an adult micro in his future!)
My daughter loves the Micro Cruiser! It is extremely smooth compared to other scooters and very durable. Well worth the buy!
