Micro Celebrates The Oscars
In honor of this year’s Academy Awards, we’ve put together our top nominees and award winners for the night. Among them are seasoned Micro favorites, newcomers, and some who are moving from the sidelines into the spotlight. Yes, friends - this is your backstage pass into the lives of red carpet royalty. Let's get started!
The first award of the night, for Best Supporting Role, goes to our tried and true Mini Deluxe scooter! This scooter has supported countless young ones over the years on their journey to coordination and balance. What a range of performances we've seen the Mini Deluxe play over the years; pictured above in Aqua, the Mini Deluxe has proven its range appearing in colors from red, to yellow, purple and beyond. We can expect big things from this rising star!
The crowd favorite for Most Electric Performance has won! The Micro Merlin is a newbie on the e-scooting scene, yet comes from 4 generations of strong performance in the electric field. Following in the footsteps of other red carpet royalty, the Merlin's performance went on (& on) over the better part of 3 hours. Wowing the academy with its new features including increased dual suspension, automatic lights, and more tech than ever before, the Micro Merlin is completely stealing tonight's show.
Tonight's award for Best Original Score goes to none other than the Micro Bell! To keep it short and sweet, the Micro Bell accepted saying "Thank you to everyone who believed in my abilities." *ding ding!*
The Micro Classic in White is the winner for this year's Best Visual Effects award! This elegant ride dazzles with its refined style, and really showed it off on the red carpet. We know nothing pops like a bright white! With breathtaking glide and 3D features, its no wonder this scooter is Swiss designed. We're looking forward to seeing more from this award-winner!
2019's award for Best Features goes to none other than the Mini 3in1 Deluxe! The youngest to win in this category, the Mini 3in1 Deluxe scooter is for children beginning at 1 year old. For such a young age it's remarkable to see the Mini 3in1 Deluxe with both the O and T handlebar. The adjustable seat really solidifies this scooter's spot in the winner's circle tonight. Congrats to the Mini 3in1 Deluxe!
Finally to close tonight's awards, we're revealing the winner of Best Production Design for 2019: the Trike XL! The original Trike has won numerous awards and accolades, and is widely recognized by the industry as the best in the biz. But with the upgraded Trike XL stepping onto the scene, we can see why it's this year's winner for best production design. It touts all of the elements that made the Trike a favorite, like compact folding & portability, while adding larger wheels and an anodized finish to its repertoire. It may have been a while since you've seen the Trike but with a finish like that, it's certainly fighting rumors that it's getting rusty. Here's to a Trike XL that's better than ever!
