Micro Kickboard Manufacturer Defect Warranty

Warranty Coverage & Duration

All Micro Kickboard scooters are eligible for Micro’s manufacturer defect warranty by registering within 30 days of purchase. With the warranty, Warehouse Deals and Discontinued scooters are covered for 90 days from the date of purchase, and all other Micro scooters are covered for 2 years from the date of purchase. 

This warranty safeguards against any rare defect(s) that may occur during the manufacturing process and does not cover wear and tear from everyday use, shipping and handling, or improper use (see more specifics below). 

 

Warranty Eligibility

To be eligible for Micro Kickboard’s manufacturer defect warranty, you must meet the following criteria:

  • The product must be purchased in the U.S. from an approved retailer (e.g., microkickboard.com, Amazon, Target, Dick’s Sporting Goods, or another authorized Micro retailer).

  • Warranty registration must be completed by the original purchaser.

  • The product must be registered within 30 days of the purchase date.

  • A proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) is required.

Solutions Offered

If your product has a manufacturer’s defect and is covered under warranty, we’ll either repair it or provide spare parts, free of charge. In the rare event that a repair is impractical, Micro Kickboard will, at our discretion, replace your product. 

Please note: for a no-charge exchange, the defective item must be returned within 30 days; otherwise, you will be responsible for the full price of the exchanged item.

 

What Is Not Covered?

  • Second-hand product

  • Modified or altered product

  • Poorly maintained product (i.e., rust/oxidation)

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Excessive load on product

  • Cosmetic issues such as fading, scratching, or denting

  • Environmental damage

  • Improper or abnormal use of product

  • Any damage, failure, or loss caused by accident, misuse, neglect, abuse, or theft

  • Failure to follow instructions or warnings in owner’s manual

 

Register For Micro’s Warranty

The warranty registration form is only applicable for scooters purchased within the United States from microkickboard.com, Amazon, or another authorized US-based Micro retailer.

Holiday Warranty Extension

For orders placed between November 1st and December 31st, Micro offers an extended warranty registration window through January 31st. This ensures gift purchases have adequate time to complete registration.
