Why Mom & Dad Need a Scooter, too!

Untitled-4.jpgWe hear so often how much parents love their children's scooters - so much that they are hopping and riding their kids scooters. Well, if you haven't heard, we have adult scooters! That's right. Two-wheeled or three-wheeled scooters specifically designed for adults that are socially acceptable for you. In fact, we see celebs, pro-athletes, and even business men/women cruising the sidewalk to commute to work, exercise, or even just hang with the kids.

Walking is so 1995. Here's why:

1. Scooting = fun. Scooting = exercise.. If I have my calculations correct, that means there is such thing as fun exercise?! Did you know scooting for 45 minutes burns an average of 350 calories an hour? That’s equivalent to around 1lb a week weight loss.  In comparison, walking for 45 minutes burns 149 calories, cycling 270 calories and running 450 calories – but who wants to get all hot and sweaty running? Scooting is cool, fast, fun, and provides you with a light workout. For something a little more intense, check out this fun workout built entirely around the use of a scooter by blogger SimplySadieJane!: bit.ly/1Kh9Sdr

Your heart, lungs, thighs, and behind will thank you.

2. Spend some QT with the kids. Scooting as a family is the ultimate bonding time! Trust that you will end up taking your scooters everywhere you go - on vacations, riding to school, Grandma and Grandpa's house, or our favorite, to get ice cream. Scooters + ice cream is truly the ultimate summer combo.

3. Cut your walking time in half! Whether you are taking a quick trip to a local store, heading to the office, or scooting to school (make going to school fun!), Micro has your back. It's a refreshing way to get your day started! Plus, once you arrive to your destination, you can simply fold up your scooter and stow it under your desk, in a locker, or trunk!
