  The Micro Maxi Deluxe, for ages 5-12, is green - in more than one sense! As Micro focuses on sustainability and corporate responsibility, we've developed the ECO-Collection, featuring Micro scooters created with recycled materials - specifically from the maritime industry. The 'green plastic' used for the production of the ECO-Collection (specifically in the Micro scooter deck and brake!) is from discarded and obsolete fishing gear, ropes, trawls, etc that would've normally been dropped into the sea. Our global headquarters, based in Switzerland, discovered that using recycled “green plastic” from fishing nets not only affects the health of oceans and marine life, it also reduces the company’s ecological footprint during manufacturing by up to 82% compared to using non-recycled materials. In an effort to reduce our own waste for the ECO-Collection, we have minimized packaging where possible, using FS-certified paper, and used packaging created from degradable material.

  The Maxi Deluxe ECO has the smoothest, quietest ride available thanks to high quality materials through and through. Thick polyurethane wheels and a flexible fiberglass reinforced deck work together to absorb bumps in the sidewalk, making it the perfect companion for any outing.

  An original proprietor of the lean-to-steer design, we have seen it all when it comes to Micro scooter engineering and fully recommend the lean-to-steer method as the most fun way for kids to ride. The T-bar provides stability as children steer by using their body weight to lean right or left. This intuitive way of steering limits jerky turns and develops essential balance and coordination skills.

  Safety certified by the CPSC, the Micro Maxi ECO is recommended for children up to 110 lbs. (*The maximum load for Minis recently increased to 50kg or 110lbs following as a result of updated testing. The super strong Mini was tested for a higher maximum load and tests showed a new higher rating on all the Micro Mini styles).

  SAFETY - For best protection, we strongly recommend that children wear helmets and knee pads when riding. Non marking wheels allow children to learn to scoot in the safety of your home.

  Note: While the Sprite can be a comfortable ride for those up to 220 lbs, we would direct adults to the Micro Classic or Flex Series scooter. For larger adults, we recommend the Micro Suspension.

  The Sprite comes completely assembled, with a patented double-button folding system. To unfold, simply loosen the clamp on the folding mechanism, then push in and hold the 2 buttons on either side of the front wheel.

ScootaHeadz
Ages 3+

• Product Details

  Bring a friend along on every ride with one of our colorful, funky ScootaHeadz! Choose from a variety of characters to make your adventures even more fun. They attach simply to the T-bar of your scooter: simply widen the grip on the back, pointing the mouth toward the sky and pressing toward the vertical T-bar. No need to move the grips; your Scooter Head can rest on top of them. Next, simply push the nose down so it’s a snug fit on your scooter. Now you’re ready to cruise!

  These durable, long-lasting accessories can be used with Mini and Maxi scooters, and should not be exposed to excessive heat or cold. Micro Lights can be used with Scooter Heads when attached to the scooter's stem. Other accessories may not be compatible or safe to use with ScootaHeadz. 

  ScootaHeadz are not compatible with joystick, O-bar, or chopper-style steering (e.g, the Maxi Pro LED).
