This is perfect for my active 17 month old daughter. My son has the mini and she always tried taking his, so this was perfect for her. We skipped straight to stage 2 and the handle is so easy for her to hold. Very happy with this scooter. Love that it comes with the regular handlebar so it will last her a long time.

We've had 3 now. My eldest daughter's first one got ruined by salt water (no amount of WD40 could help that thing). But we got her a new one and she's super into it these days. Of course our 1.5 yr old was jealous so now she has the Mini 3-1 with the seat. We love cruising around the neighborhood now that the weather is nice!

I bought this for my first son for his first birthday and he honestly barely used it in the 4 years it was his. Then along came his little brother and off he went. He's been using it with the seat all summer and now at 22 months he's interested in standing so I've removed the seat and let him practice inside were the floor is level. His older brother, who is suddenly interested in scootering, got a maxi and loves it.
