Micro Mobility, founded in Switzerland by Wim Ouboter in 1999, pioneered the personal transportation revolution with the introduction of the foldable, lightweight Micro Scooter. Designed for adults, it featured premium polyurethane wheels and an innovative folding mechanism for enhanced convenience and portability.
Micro licensed this revolutionary scooter to JD Sports, who later sold it under the name ‘Razor Scooter.’ (You can read more about that here!)
Since then, Micro Mobility has focused on creating strong, comfortable, and lightweight scooters. In addition to functionality, Micro emphasizes design and quality, believing that scooters should be not only fun and practical, but also visually appealing and long-lasting.
