Back to The Future (of Micro!)
At Micro, everything began with the kickboard. Originally built for teens and adults, it was only later redesigned for kids—quickly becoming a fan-favorite. Parents loved how reliably smooth, stable, and intuitive it was, and kids couldn’t get enough of the fun.
But as those young riders grew—and as parents admitted to sneaking rides themselves—we noticed the need for something more. A bigger, reimagined ride. Enter the Kickboard Reloaded: crafted for tweens, teens, and small adults, and inspired by the repeatedly award-winning Micro Maxi Scooter.
The Kickboard Reloaded is perfect for parents and young adults who’ve discovered the simple joy of gliding on a Micro and want a scooter sized just for them. It also fills the gap for older kids who have outgrown their Maxi but still want the security of three wheels.
An Elevated Design for Elevated Riders
Let’s take a closer look at what the Kickboard Reloaded has to offer—starting from the ground up.
At the base, the Kickboard Reloaded rolls on wide, high-quality polyurethane wheels. These wheels are tough and long-lasting, but still soft enough to handle bumps and shocks in the sidewalk. Their extra width also makes the ride more stable—helping riders feel confident with every kick.
Next up is the deck. It’s wider and longer than most, which isn’t just for looks—it makes riding easier too. The extra-large platform gives riders plenty of space to find a comfortable stance, whether heading to school or cruising around the neighborhood. The chassis, which serves as the “backbone” of the scooter and supports the deck, is superhero-strong, thanks to a fiberglass-reinforced lattice structure that adds strength and reduces vibrations for riders up to 220 pounds. The result? A super smooth and quiet ride that keeps the wheels firmly planted on the ground and the rider feeling secure.
At the rear of the deck, a built-in dynamo powers a small light which keeps you visible for extra safety. The hidden wires keep the design clean and modern, giving the Kickboard Reloaded its sleek look.
Finally, the T-bar is 4 inches taller than most three-wheel scooters—perfect for tweens, teens, and smaller adults. Adjusted to waist/ribcage height, it helps riders maintain balance, keep their arms relaxed, and stay in control during turns and quick moves.
