    Two-wheel scooters use handlebar steering, where riders turn the handlebars like on a bike. This offers quicker, more precise control—great for navigating crowded areas—but requires more balance and coordination, so they’re best for ages 6 and up.

    Three-wheel kickboards (like the Mini, Maxi, and Kickboard Reloaded) use Micro’s lean-to-steer method, where riders lean their body to turn. This active style promotes stable, smooth, surf-like turns, and helps children develop natural weight-shifting skills. Plus, a three-wheel kickboard stands upright on its own—ready to jump on or off anytime.

    To put it in freestanding mode, pull the black folding lever (found on the T-bar, close to the deck) with your toe (this can be tricky at first, but practice makes perfect!).

    Let the front of your scooter deck gently touch the ground, without folding up all the way. Now your scooter is in freestanding mode! Use this when you need to park your scooter anywhere.
