Start by placing the helmet on your child’s head, making sure it sits level and covers the forehead without blocking their vision. Before buckling the chinstraps, use the rear spin dial to tighten or loosen the helmet until it feels snug and secure. The helmet should stay firmly in place without wiggling or shifting, even before the chin straps are fastened. 

Next, buckle the chin straps underneath your child’s chin. Adjust the straps so they’re snug but comfortable, leaving enough room to fit two fingers between the straps and your child’s chin. This helps ensure the helmet stays securely in place while they ride. 

Finally, tuck any excess strap into the attached rubber band to keep it neatly out of the way.

It’s magnetic! The easy-to-use magnetic buckle is designed to make fastening the helmet simple for kids, while helping minimize the chance of pinching. It’s a small feature that gives young riders a little more independence when getting ready to ride. 

To buckle the straps, simply place the two buckle ends on top of each other, and they’ll automatically secure in place with a “click!” To unbuckle, simply push the two buckle pieces together from the sides to release the magnet and pull the straps apart.
