The Micro Rocket 2.0 Scooter builds on the original Rocket Scooter's design with a fresh and bold twist. Instead of a single-color design, it introduces vibrant neon highlights in key spots like the wheels and ends of handlebars. Riders will also notice new, ribbed rubber handgrips—a minor change from the original Rocket's foam ones.
The wide wheels have also been redesigned to make them ultra-lightweight yet tough enough for serious turns and weaving.
Two-wheel scooters are best for older riders who are ready to handle more balance and control. Every Micro two-wheel scooter has a height-adjustable T-bar to accommodate older kids, teens, and adults.
The main differences between two-wheeled scooters and three-wheeled kickboards comes down to steering method, balance, and wheel size.
Two-wheel scooters use handlebar steering, where riders turn the handlebars like on a bike. This offers quicker, more precise control—great for navigating crowded areas—but requires more balance and coordination, so they’re best for ages 6 and up.
Three-wheel kickboards (like the Mini, Maxi, and Kickboard Reloaded) use Micro’s lean-to-steer method, where riders lean their body to turn. This active style promotes stable, smooth, surf-like turns, and helps children develop natural weight-shifting skills. Plus, a three-wheel kickboard stands upright on its own—ready to jump on or off anytime.
To unfold, first open the silver or black clamp found on the right side of the T-bars base. Next, push in the silver button on the base and unfold our scooter until the T-bar clicks into place. Finally, close the clamp to secure in place.
To fold, open the silver or black clamp at the base of the T-bar. Then simultaneously push in the buttons on either side of the T-bar base while folding the T-bar down towards the deck. Finally, close the silver/black clamp securely.
