Ready for neighborhood adventures, afternoons with friends, and plenty of time spent outdoors? While scooting is already a favorite way to explore, it’s even more fun when you turn it into a full day of activities!
Whether you’re looking for a creative craft, a tasty pre-scoot snack, or a new way to make memories with friends, we’ve got you covered. Grab your helmet, gather your crew, and get ready to keep the fun rolling all day long!
🖍️Activity #1: Color a “Scooter Parking” Sign
Every great ride deserves a designated parking spot!
Whether your scooter rests in the garage, mudroom, front porch, or entryway, creating a custom parking sign is a fun way to give it a special home between adventures.
Print off our downloadable Scooter Parking sign, grab your favorite markers, crayons, or colored pencils, and decorate it however you’d like. Add your name (or your scooter’s name!) and create a colorful masterpiece to match your ride.
Once you’re finished, hang it proudly where your scooter parks. It’s a fun and simple craft that builds excitement for your next ride and adds a little personality to your scooter storage space.

🤗Activity #2: Make Friendship Bracelets for Your Friends & Your Scooter

Want to make your scooter friendship official? Time for friendship bracelets!
After all, your scooter is there for neighborhood adventures, park trips, and countless laps around the block. Why not give it a colorful accessory of its own?
We love this simple step-by-step tutorial by Red Ted Art: Easy Friendship Bracelets with Cardboard Loom. Make matching bracelets for your best friends, then create one in your scooter’s colors to tie around the handlebars or T-bar. It’s a fun way to personalize your ride and make it stand out at the playground.
You’ll just need yarn in a few different colors, a small piece of cardboard, a ruler, a pencil, and a pair of scissors.
Print the instructions from their website or follow along with their YouTube tutorial. Once you’re finished, gather your friends for a scooting adventure and show off your creations along the way!
🥤Activity #3: Power Up for Scooting with a Smoothie

Every adventure needs fuel! Before heading out for a neighborhood ride, a trip to the park, or a scooting playdate with friends, take a few minutes to make a refreshing smoothie to power your day.
One of our favorites is this simple blueberry smoothie recipe from Highlights Kids. It comes together quickly and only requires a handful of ingredients:
-
-
An orange or orange juice
-
Fresh blueberries
-
Grape juice
-
Cinnamon
-
Plain yogurt
-
Water
-
Blend everything together, pour into your favorite cup, and enjoy before your next scooting adventure!
Want to make it even more fun? Turn your smoothie into a “pit stop” activity. Invite friends over, make smoothies together, then head out for a group ride around the neighborhood.
Follow their directions for mixing and blending here!
🪨Activity #4: Collect Rocks While Scooting & Make a Craft

What’s better than scooting outside with friends? Discovering treasures along the way!
The next time you head out for a ride, challenge yourself to become a neighborhood explorer! Keep an eye out for interesting stones, pebbles, or rocks of all shapes and sizes as you scoot through.
Once you’ve returned home, turn your collection into a creative craft project. Paint colorful designs, create silly characters, or arrange your rocks into fun patterns and displays.
We especially love the ideas from Mommy Musings, including pet fish rocks, mosaic garden rocks, and painted rock families.
This activity is a great reminder that some of the best parts of scooting aren’t just the ride itself. They’re the discoveries, adventures, and memories you make along the way!

Keep the Fun Rolling
One of the best things about scooting is that you can turn an ordinary day into an unforgettable adventure. Whether you’re creating a custom parking sign, decorating your ride with friendship bracelets, fueling up with a smoothie, or collecting treasures on your travels, there are endless ways to add creativity to your ride.
